Lord Jeffery Inn Wedding > Lord Jeffery Inn wedding

Amanda + James were high school sweethearts who were introduced by mutual friends when they were 17. On a trip to New York City he asked her to be his girlfriend, and to bring things full circle he later proposed in Central Park. When we met they related the story and included that Amanda had tried to hold James’ hand that day, but he avoided it because he was holding onto the ring he would propose with. Then this September they said “I Do” in Amherst with a reception at the Lord Jeffery Inn.

They both began their day getting ready at the Inn, and had their wedding party keep a lookout for the other while each made their way across the street to the Grace Episcopal Church without seeing each other. After some family formals on the Amherst Common we made our way back to the Inn for wedding party portraits on the outdoor upper deck, and then joined their family and friends for introductions and their first dance.

With a short break to make some nighttime portraits, Amanda + James quickly got back to the dance floor where they remained for most of the night.
