Springfield Country Club Wedding > Springfield Country Club

Chrissy + CJ met at church, so it was especially fitting when he proposed to her two years later in the church’s bell tower. She read a letter he wrote to her surrounded by flowers and candles he’d set out, after which they rang the church bells in celebration.

Their wedding on New Year’s Day began at Chrissy’s parents’ house where she and her bridesmaids prepared for the day. After a short limo ride to Holy Cross Church in Springfield we waited in the vestibule for the ceremony to begin, joining CJ and his groomsmen where they had already gathered.

Mass was the most important part of the day for Chrissy + CJ, and the beautiful service concluded with a military sword ceremony on the steps of the church.

From there we travelled to the Springfield Country Club for their reception which began with meaningful toasts and included a cake cutting using one of the military swords. After much dancing and celebration the evening concluded with laughter and hugs and singing.
