Riverview Wedding > 
Beth + John met while students at UMass Amherst and were together for six years when John proposed back on the UMass campus. I met them shortly thereafter at a bridal expo and before long was photographing their wedding at the Riverview in Simsbury, CT.
Their day began at the nearby Simsbury Inn where each got ready with their attendants, after which we made our way down the road to the Riverview. We made some portraits of Beth and her bridesmaids and John and his groomsmen by the river behind the venue, making sure to keep them out of sight from one another until the ceremony.
Dancing featured prominently throughout the night, first with an energetic first dance and later a fun choreographed routine with the bridesmaids and then the groomsmen. From then until the end of the night there was high energy dancing with most of the guests on the dance floor, having fun until the lights went on.
