Merlot on the Water Wedding > 
Danielle and Daniel hired me shortly after I photographed Danielle’s brother’s wedding last year. Since I already knew half the family that familiarity worked in everyone’s favor during this more recent wedding day, with those family members already accustomed to seeing me work. It was great catching up with her family and meeting Daniel’s, and then documenting the day when these families merged.
We used the rain earlier in the day to our advantage while making portraits outside the chapel after the ceremony. We kept our cameras dry and continued the celebration into the night for a reception that featured loving looks between Danielle and Daniel, lots of dancing, and a few nighttime portraits.
