Katie and Brian’s wedding had so many personal touches it’s difficult to know where to begin. Their choice of music, from the Final Fantasy 8 and Star Wars Throne Room themes playing during the processional and recessional, to the Rockford Files theme playing during the cake cutting, was all totally them. Their plan to “start classy and degrade into a party”, according to Katie, was pretty much how it went.
The details they had were also numerous. A candy buffet, a cake and cupcakes made by Katie’s mom, Broadway playbills as their guest table names, handmade centerpieces, water for guests during their outdoor ceremony in steel buckets with their names on them. It was a very personal and fun day.
