Dr. Seuss Wedding at the Springfield Museums > first dance with vintage airplane

Julie + Sean had their ceremony in Seattle where they currently live, but as Julie’s family lives in Western Massachusetts they opted for another east cost reception to continue the celebration. Since there was no ceremony this time around, after a first look we spend some time walking through the Quadrangle making portraits and utilizing the great Dr. Seuss statues on display.

We had the opportunity to use the Wood Museum and some of its classic vehicles in portraits as well, and the vintage airplanes that hung from the ceiling made it a unique venue for a reception.

It turns out Julie and I are distant cousins, and it was fun for me to be introduced to family I hadn’t met before, including some who knew my great grandfather whom I never had the opportunity to know.

Julie + Sean had additional help on their day from…
