American Horror Story Inspired Engagement Session > 
When making plans for their engagement session, Andrea and Ryan thought a bit higher concept for the photographs they wanted to make. Being big fans of American Horror Story, they put themselves in my hands to create something a bit darker and edgier than average.
We decided to take on American Horror Story Season One: Murder House. Rather than literal interpretations we instead made images inspired by that season. We traveled to a sprawling mansion in Danvers, MA that has built into its architecture parts of the now-demolished Danvers State Hospital, which in different times was also named the State Lunatic Hospital at Danvers, the Danvers Lunatic Asylum, and the Danvers State Insane Asylum.
